SAN DIEGO CONSULAR CORPS

As the second largest city in the State of California, and the eight largest in the United States, San Diego is a powerful engine to an economy larger than those of many foreign countries. 
World Trade in San Diego is an integral part of its economic life and fuels continuing investments in the city.  The Consular Corps of San Diego plays an ever-increasing role as San Diego expands its presence in the
evolving global economy.  The United States Department of State in Washington, DC has duly accredited and recognized all consuls (honorary and career) listed herein as official representatives of their sending states. 
Under the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations (VCCR), they are duly authorized to conduct those consular activities permitted by their respective governments within their geographic areas of
jurisdiction and should be accorded their respective rights, privileges and immunities as directed by international and domestic law.  All consular officers carry identification cards issued by the US Department of State.
